Todd McAllister, PhD, is widely regarded as one of the original architects of Longevity Medicine and a leading visionary in the transformation of modern healthcare. A scientist, entrepreneur, and systems thinker, his work has helped shift medicine from a reactive, disease-centered model to a proactive, data-driven discipline focused on extending healthspan, performance, and functional longevity. Over the past 25 years, Dr. McAllister has founded, scaled, and advised companies at the forefront of preventive and regenerative healthcare. He was the co-founder and CEO of Fountain Life, alongside Tony Robbins and Peter Diamandis—one of the first companies globally to focus explicitly on proactive, prevention-based care rather than episodic disease treatment. At Fountain Life, Dr. McAllister designed and operationalized what has become the foundational clinical framework for longevity medicine, organizing care around three core pillars: Precision Diagnostics, Performance Optimization, and Advanced Therapeutics. This integrated model established the clinical focus on healthspan over lifespan and continues to define the approach used by longevity clinics worldwide. Following Fountain Life, Dr. McAllister partnered with ProMedica Health System, the 14th largest healthcare system in the United States, to build and operate the Icaria Longevity Center. This initiative embedded proactive longevity care within a traditional primary care environment, demonstrating how advanced prevention models could scale within large healthcare systems and helping bring longevity medicine closer to the mainstream. Dr. McAllister also brings exceptional scientific credibility to the field. His pioneering work in cell-based therapies was recognized by Scientific American as one of the Top 50 achievements in science, business, and policy, and he is a two-time finalist for the NIH Pioneer Award. His research has been widely published in top-tier journals, including The New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Nature Medicine, and Science, contributing to the clinical understanding of regenerative therapies, translational medicine, and the biology of aging. Most recently Dr. McAllister co-founded Skai Health, a network of concierge primary care clinics in the UK and Middle East. As Skai’s Founding Scientist, he continues his mission to translate complex biological data into clear, actionable care—turning early insight into lasting health.
